Jack Williams

I graduated from Newcastle University in 2018, going on to complete General Professional Training (GPT) before undertaking two further years of working in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery across Newcastle and Sunderland. I returned to Newcastle Dental Hospital to complete Dental Core Training in Sedation and Oral Medicine.

I am currently a clinical teaching fellow in oral surgery at Newcastle University, whilst also completing a master’s in clinical research with a focus on oral surgery educational development.
Being keen to be more involved in teaching, I completed my postgraduate certificate in clinical education during my dental core training. I also have had the chance to publish and present both nationally and internationally on various topics. I am keen to pursue an academic career in the future!
