Abdul Dalghous
I am currently a specialist oral surgeon and work as an Associate Specialist surgeon in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (Pinderfields General Hospital, Wakefield).
After graduating with my dental degree in Libya in 1989, I completed my Master of Dental Science at the University of Leeds and also completed mys PhD in Oral Medicine there.
I have also successfully completed his fellowship examinations at both the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of surgeons of Ireland.
I am skilled in the treatment of anxious patients using sedation, after completing a Diploma in Conscious Dental Sedation at University of Newcastle in 2006. I am also a specialist at wisdom teeth removal in Leeds.
Teaching experience Since 1995 Dr Dalghous has also been involved in the Oral surgery and oral Medicine teaching of undergraduate students from various Universities, including teaching of wisdom tooth removal in Leeds. He is also influential in the training of junior doctors in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr Dalghous has also worked alongside various Oral & Maxillofacial Consultants in organising training courses in the Yorkshire region. These courses have been attended by numerous doctors and dentists starting their hospital careers as well as general dental practitioners.
